Semi Senior Accountant - Full time office based

Our client

As a result of rapid growth, our client, a Midlands based Practice is looking for a new Semi Senior Accountant to join the team.

In this role you will work with a range of clients, from sole traders, to limited companies, reporting to the Senior Accountant for client matters.


About the role:


  • Preparation of Accounts for Limited Companies/Partnerships/Sole Traders
  • Draft Corporation Tax Calculations
  • Portfolio VAT work
  • Review and checking of Junior staff work
  • Submission of returns via various systems like Xero
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Preparation of management and statutory accounts

About you:


  • Minimum of 2 years within a similar role.
  • Previous experience is essential
  • Accountancy Practice experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA part qualified
  • Experience in practice
  • Experience with Xero (desired)

On Offer:


  • Salary up to £26,000
  • 20day holiday + bank holidays
  • Flexible work hours (in office Mon-Fri)
  • Pension
This role is either FT or PT with a minimum of 25h per week
