£85-90k Plus Package
The Client
Our Client is a highly respected Building & Refurbishment specialist working across sectors from Industrial and Civil Engineering to Fit Out & Refurbishment.
The Role
You will ultimately work within their Industrial sector managing projects from £5-10 Million.
You will be responsible for ensuring each project is completed safely, on time, to budget and to the required, scope, program and specification.
You will controlcosts and ensure the project is on track through to completion / project hand over.You will take responsibility for the overview of the daily running and smooth operation of all projects within your remit.
You will oversee all communication between the Clientand all relevant parties, ensuring strict Health & Safety adherence.Key Duties:
Preparation, development and delivery of projects to a high quality within timescale and to client satisfaction
Develop, motivate and retain high quality operative
Understand budget, control cost and deliver projects within the forecast cost
Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies including Health, Safety and Environmental and statutory regulations
Provide technical support and advice to the client, project supervisor and operatives
Attending client progress meetings
Ensure accurate reporting and plan cost effective use of resources
Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (Inc. sub-contractors)
Control contract progress and budgets towards completion
Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time.
Ensure contracts comply with Legal and Statutory requirements
Deal with Client / Customer queries and or communications professionally and efficiently.
Inspect quality of work as site progress.
Feedback issues to enable design and quality improvements.
Manage and coordinate on site staff and subcontractors to achieve programme of works
Ensure all work is completed in line with method statements & risk assessments.
Ensure adequate resource available to achieve programme requirements.
Discuss performance with Site Supervisors and report back to Senior staff
Requirements:
You must have previously worked at Contract Manager level on Industrial Builds
Detailed knowledge of H&S legislation
Excellent leadership, management and communication skills
The ability to work under pressure
Must demonstrate a proven track record in completing project within tight timescales/deadlines
Capable of programming projects from concept to completion
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
