What will you be doing?:


The Society are fully embracing the new office ways of working culture, so a mixture of both office (Lichfield) and home working is on offer
We're currently recruiting for a Payroll & People Process Administrator to join us.


As a member of this talented and friendly team, you'll get involved in a wide range of payroll related processes and handle correspondence with efficiency and accuracy.


You'll have the opportunity to collaborate and work with a variety of key people from internal colleagues to external providers such as HMRC and DWP and consistently demonstrate co-operative values in your way of working.


Additionally, you'll be responsible for the operation of both statutory and Society regulations whilst upholding confidentiality in everything you do.


Looking for better ways of doing things, we openly welcome feedback and input across our People processes and documentation, to make sure our teams are operating at their best, consistently, and accurately.


How will I know if I am right for this role?:

This is a high volume, fast paced environment where a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is needed.


A true team-player, you'll be supportive of the wider team activities and contribute towards these in a positive and proactive manner.

You'll be comfortable working under your own initiative and managing your time effectively.

With the support and guidance from leadership, we're looking for someone with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.


Previous digital/HR system administration experience with a good practical knowledge and understanding of the full payroll cycle and a great track record in delivering accurate payment processes across a range of terms and conditions, we'd love to hear from you.


Having great customer service skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships would make you ideal for this role.

You'll also need to hold Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
