As we gear up for an exhilarating new chapter, we're on the hunt for an influential Team Leader - someone who can bring enthusiasm, strategy, and most importantly, heart, into everything they do.

The Role:


In this pivotal role, you'll:

  • Mentor, lead, and motivate a dedicated team of Advisors, setting them up for success as they assist our clients.
  • Add value to our evolving landscape, leveraging your experience of steering teams through major transitions.
  • Elevate team efficiency and productivity, ensuring we're always there for those who need us most.
  • Lead the way in refining our processes and help and guide collaborative workshops and events.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Advocate quality by guiding your team to high standards through consistent feedback.
  • Spot coaching and training opportunities, turning them into growth moments.
  • Steer through change, keeping your team stable and inspired.
  • Dive deep into data, ensuring every step we take is informed and effective.
  • Channel key messages, holding regular and engaging team briefings.
  • Stay aligned with StepChange regulations processes and policies to support your team in working towards creating a society free from problem debt.

What we want from you:

  • Effective leadership paired with adept management and team development skills.
  • Proven track record of leading teams through transformative change.
  • Call centre management experience (a bonus, but not a dealbreaker).
  • A sharp eye for setting and reviewing performance metrics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a knack for simplifying the complex.
  • Proficient IT skills, ensuring we stay ahead in a digital world.
