We are looking for a Team Leader for our Priory Residential Eating Disorders Service, Althea Park House, based in Stroud, Gloucestershire - Salary £26,000

About us

Priory Althea Park House is a specialist residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young people and young adults (aged suffering from eating disorders and other associated complex mental health difficulties.


The Home is made up of a 7 bedded home for young adults We also have The Anchor, a 3 bedded semi-independent step-down home (18+) on the Althea Park House site.

We are fortunate to be able provide quality care in homely environments, within the beautiful Stroud Valleys, in Gloucestershire.

About the job

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team at site.

You will oversee the Support Workers and Senior Support Workers, as well as working closely with the management team to ensure the day to day running of the service.


This role will allow you the opportunity to build longer term, meaningful therapeutic relationships and use them to support people to affect change.

Our therapeutic model focuses on supporting our service users to build a life outside of the confines of their eating disorder or indeed, mental illness.

We work hard to support those that live in our homes, to build their own resilience, sense of self and ability to connect with the world around them.

Shifts are as 7.5 hour shifts, across 7 days (Long days also available)

Early shift: 7.30am-3.30pm

Late shift: 2.30pm-10.3pm

Waking Night shift: 10pm-8am

What you need

  • Experience in a supervisory role within care
  • Experience with shift management and supervising junior members of the team
  • To be motivated and dynamic
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development

Experience in Eating Disorders is helpful, but not essential. We are keen to recruit the right person most of all.
