As the Digital Asset Facilitator, you play a pivotal role in the secure and efficient distribution of digital assets throughout our Surrey and Borders Partnership (SABP) estate.

Your collaboration with the Digital Asset Coordinator will be key in ensuring the precise logging of assets within our Configuration Management Database (CMDB), taking the lead in updating entries as necessary.

Your meticulous attention to detail will contribute significantly to the integrity of our digital asset management and overall operational efficiency.


  • Responsible for the delivery / collection of devices to and from our customers.
  • Ensure Devices are delivered / collected in line with trust service level agreements.
  • Update assets within the Digital CMDB
  • Assist with audits to ensure that the Digital inventory is consistent with the assets listed in the configuration management database system and to ensure necessary corrective action is taken if required.
  • Assist with the receipt, identification, and storage of all supported assets.
  • Assist in ensuring that access to the central Digital store is always controlled and no unauthorised personnel have access to the store.
  • Create, update and monitor assets within the Digital inventory, working senior managers within the department to review assets within the organization.
  • Build and collaborate relationships within digital teams and our customers.

As a Digital Asset Facilitator, you will be an integral part of our digital services team, ensuring the seamless delivery and collection of digital devices across our customer base.

Your focus on upholding our Trust service level agreements and maintaining accurate records within our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) will be critical to our operations.


Working in close collaboration with senior managers and other teams, you will help create a robust and reliable digital inventory that aligns with our commitment to service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


1.


Device Management:

Delivery and collection of digital devices to and from our customers, ensuring this process aligns with our Trust service level agreements.


2.


Digital CMDB Maintenance:

Regularly update digital assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy.


3.


Audit Support:

Assist with audits to maintain consistency between the digital inventory and the CMDB. Ensure corrective action is promptly taken when discrepancies are identified.

Asset Reception and Storage:

Support in receiving, identifying, and storing all supported assets in an organized manner.


5.


Security Management:

Help enforce access controls to the central Digital store, ensuring no unauthorized personnel gain access.

Inventory Management:

Create, update, and monitor assets within the Digital inventory. Collaborate with senior managers within the department to review assets within the organization.


7.


Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain productive relationships with digital teams and our customers, facilitating smooth operations and superior service delivery.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Technical knowledge of various digital devices and asset management systems
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience delivering and collecting devices and assets

Physical Requirements:


This role involves physical activity such as lifting and delivering hardware equipment, and therefore the ability to lift certain weights (such as computer hardware) is necessary.

The role also requires extended periods of driving
