We are looking for a Machine Setter/Operator with experiene of CNC to join our well
- established team based in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machine and ensuring all production is carried out in accordance with specifications
• Ensuring all production achieves the highest quality standards in line with the company's quality procedures ensuring all necessary documentation and labelling etc. is completed and records maintained
• Ensuring that a safe and clean working environment is always maintained
• Ensuring you always adhere to company procedures and rules and follow both verbal and written instruction
• Ensuring all manufacture is completed in a timely fashion within the given timescales to meet the required delivery date
• Ensuring all company documentation is completed and records maintained in accordance with the company's procedure
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Supervisor across other production areas.
• Work can involve manual handling
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of CNC machines and/or thermoforming/vacuum forming would be an advantage
• Fork lift licence would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Ability to use initiative

You must be able to produce a consistent level of quality with a good understanding of housekeeping and understand the importance of good / safe working practices is vital.

Hours: 9am to 6pm or 10am to 6pm

From £11.50 per hour
