The role
As an Apprenticeship Coach, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

Working with the London Fire Brigade supporting Trainee Fire Fighters through the apprenticeship programme and delivery of Functional Skills (Level 2) Maths and English.

Day to day, you'll provide coaching and mentoring to the firefighters through the apprenticeship programme.

  • Support and record progress of apprentices at regular reviews.
  • Travelling to fire stations and training venues across the whole LFB area for apprenticeship reviews
  • One to one and group delivery for on demand workshops for maths and English


This role is a full-time permanent position working a 37.5 hour week and will be based from one of our London sites with hybrid working from home arrangements.


Essential experience of the Apprenticeship Coach:

  • Proven record in delivering and assessing learning.
  • Experience of Functional Skills requirements

Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Coach:


  • Functional Skills level 2 maths and English or equivalent
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent (desirable)
