Locality Manager (London and Southeast)

£50,311.15per annum**
Home based - with expectation of travel within locality area and occasional national travel.

Full time (Job shares considered), Permanent

Closing Date: 17th April 2023

Interviews are expected to take place in the week commencing 24th April 2023.
Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England.

About the role .

This role is an ideal opportunity for passionate and dynamic individuals looking to help shape the future of the social care workforce.


As a Locality Manager your role is pivotal to support the sector to respond and adapt to the emerging trends and needs within social care, using our Adult Social Care-Workforce Data Set data, sector insight and engagement work to drive forward our ambitions for widescale change.

This vacancy for the unique role of Locality Manager is based in our London and Southeast Area team, covering the following area:

  • Northeast London (City of London, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Barking, Havering)


The role of Locality Manager is very flexible and provide the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of work and projects to support our ambition of a social care workforce with the right people, skills and support, delivering the highest quality care.

You may contribute or lead on specific pieces of work as opportunities arise, e.g., internal task and finish groups, business development opportunities and external projects.
