This role supports the Clothing product teams to work efficiently and effectively by processing any administrative tasks and data inputting that is required to enable to the category to meet its objectives and be compliant with company and legal guidelines.
This role requires an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills as well as a natural curiosity to learn and develop.
As a Category Assistant you'll:
- Reporting into the Senior Buyer for a specific category but working alongside other Category Admins to support the broader Buying Team administrative requirements, as well as any administrative support for the UKbased Global Design team.
- Provide support for all data entry and housekeeping required to maintain the sku raising, supplier setup, price set up and general data management functions for the Buying teams within Clothing.
- Ensure that Promotional and Pricing administration is completed efficiently and effectively on behalf of the trading team.
- Carry out the accurate filing and maintenance of all required records in line with company procedures and legal guidelines, on behalf of the category.
- Support the Buying and Design teams with downloading, sharing, printing any reports that are required to support in general commercial meetings e.g. trading, sign off or strategy meetings.
- Ensure all skus and related data inputting is generated accurately in line with the critical path and any amendments actioned promptly in line with agreed actions from Trade or Critical Path Meetings.
- Demonstrate high levels of process compliance and data integrity.
- Gain a commercial awareness of our product ranges, stores and competitors.
- Prepare for, attend, and take notes at a variety of meetings.
- Support all team activity being legal and compliant by accurate keying of data within relevant time frames.
