At Arriva, our Bus Drivers are at the heart of the communities we serve. Whether it's getting children to school or commuters to work. They connect our customers to what matters to them.

We are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Specialist for the South, to be responsible for the attraction, selection, and onboarding of experienced and Trainee Bus Drivers across our London garage network.

Responsibilities

Delivery of an efficient, effective recruitment service which ensures the attraction and employment of right people, right time with right skills through campaign coordination and managing individual recruitment requirements up to the point of joining the business.
Liaise with Training School to agree induction dates and capacity in line with the workforce plans.
Advise hiring managers on appropriate assessment tools where required.
Manage the relationships with key stakeholders within the designated recruitment activity area at a local level (Hiring managers and HR teams where appropriate)
Contribute through own and team performance to the achievement of Recruitment KPI targets and SLAs.

What we're looking for

Previous experience within an internal recruitment role.
Experience of working in a volume frontline recruitment environment. (Industrial, Driving, FMCG, Retail, Blue Collar etc)
Confident with online attraction tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter (Campaigns/Sponsorship)
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience of facilitating Assessment Centres
Knowledge of employment legislation in relation to recruitment.
Strong MI / Data experience forecasting volumes, recruitment plans, trackers etc.
Full UK driving license as travel to depots and careers events is required.
Role paying circa £3540k + Bens (depending on experience)
