An exciting position has become available for a Caterer to join our friendly team based at Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club, Llandrindod Wells.

We are seeking a highly organized self-employed caterer to manage our catering and event services during the outdoor bowling season during April - September with potential for expansion during the winter months.

The caterer responsibilities will include overseeing food preparation and delivery, maintaining inventories, liaising with suppliers, supervising staff, and ensuring that the kitchen meets sanitation standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have a personable demeanour and a passion for customer service. Experience in the food service industry is essential.

Renumeration will be dependent on experience and discussed at the interview stage.


Catering Coordinator Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the day to day running of the club's kitchen facilities.
• Manage the Environmental Health requirements and manage good standards of Food Hygiene.
• Oversee catering and kitchen staff and managing staff schedules.
• Effectively communicate with all guests and members in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
• Processing food orders in a timely manner.
• Maintaining an inventory of food, supplies and cleaning materials.
• Liaising with external suppliers.
• Assisting the club's management committee with food menus and budgets.
• Due to the nature of the fixtures requirements for food there will be a mixture of daytime, evenings, weekends and bank holidays requirements.

Catering Coordinator Requirements:

• Hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate.
• Prior experience in the food service or hospitality industry required.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Organized and punctual.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Part-time hours: 4-20 per week

• Llandrindod Wells, LD1 6AE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

• Catering: 2 years (preferred)
