Job Summary
We have a fantastic & exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our busy multi-functional Support Department.

Duties of the Logistics Coordinator
- Coordinate machine & software installations
- Work with the Service Manager to maintain and improve processes around the logistics function
- Communicate effectively with customers and keep them updated of delivery progress
- Coordinate the appropriate resource i.e van drivers & engineers in an effective manner whilst considering other areas of the department and taking into consideration skills, experience, cost, and availability
- Work with other departments to ensure a smooth & professional installations process from start to finish
- Ensure all paperwork is produced in a timely and accurate manner and stored electronically and securely
- Work with third party transportation providers, reviewing costs and transportation rates and researching shipping options
- Work with other third party partners to track stock and set up out of area customers support in line with our contractual obligations
- Ensure that shipping methods comply with rules, regulations, and laws
- Follow all health and safety regulations around safe loading and working standards
- Prepare accurate reports for management to adhere to Board level expectations
- Ensure all customer devices are set up and communicating on various supply management systems
- Assist with quality control monitoring
- Assist with incoming engineer calls and booking of appointments for engineers
- Be comfortable in speaking with employees from various departments within the business, from field engineers to directors.
- Accurately maintain our ERP system
- Building and maintaining relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure standards and requirements are met throughout the installation management cycle
Logistics Coordinator skills and qualifications
- Must have outstanding organisational and problemsolving skills
- Experience in working within a logístical coordination environment
- Good knowledge with using Microsoft packages
- Adaptable to using bespoke systems
- Excellent People, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to coordinate staff resources to meet changing needs
- Adaptable to changing and challenging situations
- Ability to work under pressure
