This role is a critical role within Innovation team to manage Spectroscopy accessories and sample preparation product portfolio & innovation lifecycle.
The Product & Innovation Management Lead will be responsible for both product & business model innovation, defining the product vision & roadmap, developing deep understanding of the customers, market trends and competitive landscape, formulating product strategy, gathering, and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
Working closely with New Product Development, Current Products Teams & Compliance Lead to manage assigned product portfolio, innovation roadmap & product compliance.
Working with Technical support, Sales and Marketing teams to gather insights and provide them tools to excel, while constantly keeping the strategy updated.
Key Responsibilities:

- Acquiring product, process and market insights & trends within Spectroscopy accessories and Sample Preparation category to identify new opportunities.
- Capturing market & customers' needs working closely with sales, technical support, and meeting with customers and translating these into product, services and innovation roadmap to drive growth.
- Formalizing ideas/service concepts into compelling, profitable, and differentiated value propositions (scope, benefits/values for clients, USPs, competitive benchmark, targeted pricing, etc.)
- Keep current product portfolio constantly updated and relevant based on business insights & strategy, working with Technical Support, Quality, Sales and Marketing.
- To take a central role in the education of OEM representatives, dealers, and end users and to drive growth through these initiatives.
- Be the point of contact along with other Product & Innovation lead and the bridge between Product development technical team and rest of the business, to drive prioritisation of the requests and activities, enabling relevant functional leaders with planning, prioritisation & expectations management.
- To provide technical leadership to the sales team and customers quarries.
- To work with the sales team in the identification and targeting of new markets and channels, opportunities to grow market share.
- To report monthly on the performance the product portfolio against agreed KPI's.
Key Skills:
- Education: PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related.
- Experience in product & Innovation management/Strategy with demonstratable success.
- Experience in establishing Innovation partnerships and public speaking.
- Hands on experience of leading innovation identifying need to market.
- Strong motivation and selfdiscipline to work proactively and with mínimal supervision.
- Good level of practical aptitude & experience in handling technical products.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguity.
Other requirements
- Flexibility to travel occasionally in UK or abroad as per business needs.
- The right to work and live in the UK without company sponsorship.
- Valid Driving Licence
