Job summary:


This is a rare chance to support the changing landscape of systems and data in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.

Working with key stakeholders and a professional finance team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective delivery of team objectives.


The role will support the continuous improvement in financial reporting and associated systems, processes and policies, driving improvement in the integrity of data and managing data flows between systems.


Job description:


Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on the use and compliance of financial data and systems, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.


You will have a broad finance experience, as well as some knowledge of SQL programming language used to create queries to update, delete or request information from databases.

Ability to extract, manipulate, present and reconcile data with ease is essential. You'll also be resilient and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and written.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way.


Person specification:


  • Sound understanding of finance processes.
  • Ability to deliver training to users of all levels.
  • Proactive approach and enjoys continuous improvement.
  • Good knowledge of finance systems ideally eFinancials.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to extract data from multiple sources.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work with minimum supervision and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident in prioritising workloads to meet change in work demands.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
