Are you looking to make a difference in Children's lives? Here is an opportunity for you to work as Supervising Social Worker in Fostering Services where you can work with children.


The rate of pay would be up to £38 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Make ongoing assessments of prospective carers to reflect individual circumstances including assessment of risk and capability and the need to ensure that children & young people and carers are protected from harm.
  • Prepare and present reports as necessary to facilitate decision making about carers and children & young people and to provide effective quality assurance
  • Provide a needsled service, working with a range of providers and with the independent and voluntary sectors in order to meet requirements
  • Establish and maintain appropriate networks and professional relationships with children & young people, their families/carers and other professionals to deliver services through effective partnership working to Carers and Children Looked After

  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Knowledge and understanding of Social Care practice as defined by Social Work England Guidelines, appropriate legislation and issues relevant to client group
  • Able to drive a car and hold UK Driving License
