Builders Merchant Company Ltd is an independent merchant with 4 branches across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, with ambitions for future growth and development of further branches.

We are a fast paced, heavily energetic company with a drive and determination to succeed.

The company has grown from 1 branch to 4 over the last 5 year period, tripling its turnover in the process, and was recently voted as the 'New Merchant of the Year 2020' by the Builders Merchant Journal.

You will be tasked with establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base, achieving branch sales targets and increasing business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

You will required to take a proactive approach to liaising with both existing and potential customers
Able to manage inbound and outbound sales calls, maximising sales potential at all times
Attracting new clients and ensuring ongoing development of the company through sales
Monitoring sales and customer performance against targets
Building and developing positive customer relations and ensuring excellent customer service throughout
You must be an excellent negotiator, have good communication skills, be confident and enthusiastic.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, , with alternate Saturday mornings Negotiable
