Position:
SEND Teaching Assistant

Location:
Romford, London

Salary:
£75 - £100 per day


Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join the SEN unit at a reputable primary school in Romford.


About the Role:


You will be an integral part of our SEN unit, working alongside a team of supportive professionals to provide tailored support to students with social communication and ASD.

With a ratio of 8 children to 5 adults, you will contribute to creating a structured and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Support students in their academic and social development
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

About the School:

The primary school maintains an excellent reputation, with an OFSTED rating of 'Good'. You will join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality education and support to all students.


Requirements:


  • Passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A DBS check on the Update Service and Safeguarding training are preferred, but can be provided through We Educate
