I am recruiting for a Lead QA/Test Lead to join a fab organization. This is a newly created fully remote role (you must be UK based) to join a scale-up of approx. 40 people. They are a software house that develop a platform that helps businesses optimisetheir marketing across social media platforms.

They currently have a Senior Tester as well as an outsourced company that do some of their testing and are now at a stage in their growth where they would like a Test Lead to head up their test function.

You'llbe their Testing champion and be responsible for heading up all things quality.

You'll get to understand what they have in place and will evolve and drive forwards their test strategy, tools and processes.

You'll work closely with the wider tech team, championingand embedding a culture of quality within their teams.

They want someone to develop and evolve their testing function (they have plans to hire another mid level qa) and also line manage their existing QA and work closely with the outsourced provider.

As theyare still a small team they want someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into hands-on testing when necessary so you'll need to be happy to be hands-on when needed.

They also want someone who can oversee the introduction of automation,so, good knowledge of automation and where it would be beneficial is a must although you don't need to be able to do the automation yourself.

Their ideal person will have worked as a Test Lead Lead/Manager for a startup or scaleup before and be excited about going into a small team where they can use their experience to improve what's in place and grow the team moving forwards.

Salary for this position is anywhere from £55,000 up to £80,000 dependent
