    Description

    Mobile Service Engineer - Mechanical Bias

    Job Location: Leeds & Yorkshire Area

    Main Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

    Main Responsibilities:

    • As part of a team in and around the Leeds area, deliver routine maintenance services to various M&E systems including water hygiene monitoring, emergency lighting testing and other tasks. Ongoing minor repairs will also be required for commercial properties within our portfolio.
    • Complete planned servicing and reactive reports ensuring significant events or activities are noted and effectively communicated to the JLL FM team and INTEGRAL management.
    • Actively participate in and complete Health and Safety compliance activities such as Hazard/Near Miss Reporting and regular attendance/completion of scheduled Toolbox Talks.
    • Liaise with the supply chain when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works.
    • Take ownership of areas under INTEGRAL control ensuring they meet the required show site standards.
    • Efficiently complete eLog books Work Orders that have been allocated ensuring Work Orders have been acknowledged and completed within SLA.

    Essential Qualifications and Experience:

    • Previous experience within the commercial sector is preferred but not essential.
    • Candidate must hold City& Guilds / NVQ L3 / Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
    • A background knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and safety is essential.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff.
    • Proactive approach to achieving the highest standard of operation.
    • Strong IT and report writing skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and clear thinking to deliver required services within given time constraints.
