Part-Time Secondary Maths Tutor with QTS - Join TP Tutors today
Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for unlocking the potential of young learners? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged pupils and help tackle the attainment gap?


TP Tutors is looking for a part-time secondary maths tutor with QTS to join our team and work on the National Tutoring Programme.

As a tutor, you will be working with small groups of pupils, delivering high-quality maths lessons that are tailored to theirneeds and learning styles.


You will be responsible for:


  • Developing engaging lesson plans and materials that support pupils' learning
  • Identifying and addressing any knowledge gaps or misconceptions in maths
  • Providing regular feedback via our online platform LEAP
  • Monitoring and tracking pupils' progress and adjusting your teaching accordingly

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • QTS and a strong background in teaching maths at secondary level, specifically GCSE levels
  • A passion for helping disadvantaged pupils achieve their full potential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
