Accounts Administrator - Galgorm
(12-month Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Cover)

REPORTING TO:

Group Financial Controller


HOURS OF WORK:

This position will be office based 9am -5pm, 5 days out of 7.


JOB LOCATION:

Galgorm





SALARY:
£25k per annum


About the role;


The main purpose of this position is to assist the accounts department with various administrative duties, helping a busy department run smoothly.


The Position:


The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:


  • Assisting with the Collection of VAT returns
  • Assisting Accounts Payable with maintaining our procurement system across the Collection, including payments and reconciliations.
  • Providing holiday cover for sales invoicing across the Collection.
  • Posting nominal links and holiday accruals across the Collection.
  • Collection credit card analysis.
  • Assisting with routine reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc duties associated with a busy accounts department.

  • Procurewizard

  • Procurement System

The Person:


Applicant must:

-
Have previous relevant experience, ideally within a hospitality setting
:


  • Have at least 1 year's
    administrative background. You must have highly developed administration skills and be meticulous in the preparation and delivery of relevant correspondence with the ability to quickly learn new skills and become familiar with new software packages.
  • Have a strong interest in Accountancy and consider it to be a longterm career path.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate and engage with all levels of management.
  • Have flexibility in working patterns when required.
  • Be able to work under pressure, be a team player and have a high level of selfmotivation.
  • Possess the ability to use your initiative to ensure new skills and tasks are picked up easily.

Desirable:


  • Previous experience working within an accounts department.
