Position Summary


Our opportunity offers an entrepreneurial environment within an investment team that has a track record of launching successful credit opportunities funds.

You will have a solid command of financial analysis, ideally within primary and/or secondary context. Both buy
- and sell-side experience are valued. This role will encompass both stressed/distressed and special situations. The focus for this role will be to support the Portfolio Manager in analysing and executing investment opportunities across public and private markets, and across the capital structure.

Primary Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Broad special situations investment mandate with an emphasis on credit opportunities, but with flexibility to look across the entire capital structure (including equity or equity-like investments).
  • Analysis and execution of high-quality investment ideas across primary and secondary markets, both liquid and illiquid.
  • Industry-agnostic, pan-European mandate.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of:

  • A finance background in leveraged finance, corporate finance, restructuring advisory, alternative credit or special situations is required.
  • Approximately 2 to 4 years of total experience.
  • Evidence of exceptional clarity of thought, discipline, consistency, and rigour.
  • Outstanding business judgment, with a buy-side mindset
  • Self-starter and comfortable operating in a team with an entrepreneurial culture and flat hierarchy
  • Articulate, succinct and strong communicator and presenter in sharing investment thinking.


Essential- Educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, Political Science or similar.- CFA, ACA helpful but not required.

- Strong analytical, cash-flow modelling, and valuation skills with preference for strong commercial perspective- Strong written and verbal presentation skills


Desirable- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects at once and work to tight deadlines.- A team player but also capable of operating independently.- French, German or Spanish language skills preferred.
