The Role

About You

You'll have a Bachelor degree (or MSc) in Mechanical or Naval Arch / Marine Engineering and have experience of the machinery systems basic design and construction as an engineer in shipbuilding, and/or operation of ships as a sea-going engineer, and/or provenexpert in specific ship systems.

You'll have experience of involvement with inspecting to Classification Society regulations, developing shipbuilding specifications and commissioning of systems and equipment.

Experience in dealing with marine suppliers, shipyard management and marine sub-contractors.

You'll possess thorough knowledge and understanding of cruise ship machinery and equipment through to the systems design and construction process and be able to critically examine and analyse technical information and make informed recommendations when appropriate.
