Clifton Place is a 29 bed accommodation & you would be working with a diverse group of people, ranging from families, young people, pregnant women, individuals with physical disabilities, mental health issues and substance misuse, and individuals who havebeen trafficked from the other side of the world.

This is a permanent position for 37 hours per week.

The exact salary for this role is £19,336.20

The scheme is covered 24 hours, 7 days a week so you would be expected to work 12 hour shifts on a 5-week rolling rota which would involve: weekends and waking nights
For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.


Day to Day Duties:


As a Scheme Support Officer, you work alongside the Project Workers, manage the scheme at night and be available to our clients who need support day or night.


Your day will consist of:


  • Engaging and interacting with the people we support
  • Supporting Project Workers in delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
  • Welfare checks
  • Ensuring the building is secure including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building
  • Dealing with challenging behaviours
  • Addressing any additional needs, the people we support may have
Our aim is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently.

This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse andanti-social and offending behaviour.

You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental.
