We are looking for a talented Digital Art Worker to join our embellishment team working to KitKing's high standards and set lead times.
You will be working Monday to Friday within a flexible hour structure typically settling into 08:30 - 17:00 during off peak periods but flexing out to either earlier starts or later finishes during peak periods.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Artwork, prepare and print orders from print queue and priority board. Maintain good flow of work
- Identify which artwork can be completed 'inhouse' and which need sending to our remote art
- Schedule work on the Trello calendar for Pressing colleagues to work through
- Create digital mockups when required for adhoc projects.
- Update and maintain accurate order status' so order progress can be tracked by all parties.
- Identify which method of print orders require: vinyl printers, direct to film or sublimation.
- Be involved in production planning
- Ensure the efficient use of print consumables is maintained and that waste is minimised.
- Complete all art working requests for the company, often with tight deadlines.
- Operate and maintain print equipment.
- Assist with production (i.e., weeding, masking, pressing) during peak periods when required.
General Duties:
To maintain a consistent and efficient flow of work through the department. The Digital Art Worker will take
images provided by customer/sales and prepare them so that they are correctly formatted to produce high
quality prints that will be used to customise sports team kits. The Digital Art Worker checks to see what work
is in the Print Queue and produces the transfers. They will be responsible for operating the machines to produce
the transfers that they will then deliver to the pressing team for final production.
The Digital Art Worker is required to have an excellent working knowledge of many programmes and systems
including Trello, Drop Box, Bright Pearl, VersaWorks and CorelDRAW.
The Digital Art Worker may be required at times to carry out various other duties within their capabilities as
agreed and discussed by management
Other Requirements
Experience in a fast-paced production environment desirable. Must have excellent verbal communication,
interpersonal, and customer focused skills.
Strong computer skills, highly organised and tidy and a very strong attention to detail.
Must demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Confident to identify, put forward, and
help implement new working practices and processes where applicable.
Must have some graphic design experience/competency.
Pay:
Up to £24,000.00 per year
