In this position, our Property Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a portfolio of managed sites are maintained to a high standard, whilst delivering high end customer service to our clients.

You will be the point of contact for our clients.

You will deal with all aspects of the portfolio you are assigned which will be completed remotely and from our Plymouth office.

You will need a drivers licence in order to complete site visits and attend meetings.


You will be responsible for making sure Modbury Estates hits service level agreement targets and look to maximise the property assets for our clients.


You will be expected to have property management experience and qualifications as well as having a reasonable idea of mechanical, electrical and general building issues.


Your customer service levels must be high and you must have a desire to exceed expectations as well as be able to deal with conflicting demands of various clients.

You must have a flexible approach to solving problems and your time management.


Responsibilities include:

  • Being the initial point of contact for our clients
  • Liaising with contractors on maintenance tasks to get quotes, organise works and coordinate access
  • Liaising with clients on maintenance items or other issues relating to their property
  • Dealing with utility supplies for blocks and ongoing bills
  • Preparation and issuance of notices in compliance with Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 in regard to major works (completed via our management software)
  • Arrange and attend AGM's, providing minutes and following up on any arising actions
  • Taking payment from leaseholders (completed via our management software)
  • Undertaking regular block inspections
  • Work with the client to reduce service charge and ground rent arrears
  • Ensure that all blocks meet current health and safety regulations, fire regulations if relevant and other legislative requirements.
  • Ensure cyclical maintenance is being preformed in line with the specification (e.g. cleaners, gardeners etc.)
  • Responding to complaints to address disputes and potential breaches of lease
  • Be responsible for the emergency line on a rota
  • Various administration and reporting to ensure that your portfolio is run in an organised fashion.
  • You may be required to perform other roles within the company deemed necessary by the organisation from timetotime.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 28 per week

From £18,000.00 per year
