We have an new freelance opening available for a Manual QA to be responsible for QA across a number of client sites.


The Client:
Various


Timings:
From the 3rd June for a month on a rolling contract.


Location:
Remote


Examples of specific tasks

  • Facilitate requirements into acceptance criteria
  • Manual testing across multiple devices and platforms

About You

  • Calm, Motivated, organised and methodical
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to think critically
  • Confident to speak up when you feel something is not right


You will be reporting to RY's Head of QA and work in close collaboration with developers, creatives and project management.


More project-specific details can be provided after an NDA has been signed and return should both parties agree to proceed.


Requirements:


Essential skills for this role include:

  • Previous QA experience gained within an agency
  • Good knowledge of QA & QA processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues to help understand requirements and formulate them into acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to know how to test across multiple devices and platforms, including a working knowledge of BrowserStack.

Desirable skills for this role:


  • An understanding of Umbraco, Jira and Azure
