Customer Service Executives - Full Time

Location:
Farnborough


Salary:
£22,000 - £24,000 per year, plus performance rewards


Performance related reward scheme:

- rewards ranging from £500 to £1,000 based on 3 months consecutive results.


We are looking for experienced and self-driven Customer Service Advisors to join our client, a hugely successful and growing fintech company with customers in the UK and USA.


Your role will be to provide a consistent, friendly, knowledgeable, and over-all efficient customer service experience to our clients that use our credit card facility.


Working hours
There are several shift patterns to choose from - please see below:

Option 1) Mon 12-8, Tues 10-6, Weds 9-5, Thurs 12-8, Fri 12-8 (Saturday and Sunday off)

Option 2) Mon 10-6, Tues 12-8, Weds 8-4, Thurs 12-8, Fri 12-8 (Saturday and Sunday off)

Option 3) Tues 10-6, Weds 9-5, Thurs 8-4, Fri 12-8, Sat 8-4 (Sunday and Monday off)

Option 4)Sun 9-5, Mon 10-6, Tues 9-5, Weds 12-8, Thurs 10-6 (Friday and Saturday off)


Option 5)Sunday to Thursday, 2pm - 10pm (Friday and Saturday off)

Options 1 to 4 come with a starting salary of £22,000, rising to £24,000, then progression to Supervisor Level.

Option 5 comes with a starting salary of £24,000, rising to £26,000, then progression to Supervisor Level.


What you'll do

  • Prompt attention to queries and comments made via social media
  • Answering general technical queries about the website and mobile app
  • Answering queries regarding customer statements and financial activity
  • Providing a friendly, helpful advice to both parent and child account holders
  • Administrative tasks (monitoring risk alerts, oneoff tasks etc.)
  • Support Member Services Management
  • Customer call backs
  • Responding to Social Media contacts in Facebook & Twitter & Instagram

What we're looking for


As a person, you are a self-starter who is motivated, welcomes challenges, seeks feedback from others, asks "how can I help" and then "how can we make this better", shows perseverance on long-term goals, and generally goes above and beyond in their work.


  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English (essential)
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Happy working in a committed, busy, team environment
  • Strong IT and computing skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel & Word
