Overview of role


As a _Designer& Social Media Creative_ at Target you will be helping to ideate, design/animate and create social content on our key clients' organic social channels such as Instagram & TikTok in the UK & Australian markets.

This is an entry-level role based in Cornwall.

Perfect for a creatively-minded student that has been studying towards a Graphic Design A-Level or Degree and wants to learn at speed.


In this role you will be supporting the Creative Strategist & Videographer to plan, write copy, bring to life and schedule posts on social channels.

As well as ideating and designing content using Adobe Suite, a big part of the role is proactive community management - actively commenting, responding and engaging with the brand's followers on the content you've created in order to build meaningful connection between brand and consumer.


Responsibilities of the role

  • Using Adobe Suite programmes such as Photoshop, Illustrator & AffectEffects or similar to design content that entertains, excites or inspires.
  • Proactively managing an Instagram community of 120,000 followers by responding to and proactively engaging with followers and customers using the brand's fun and playful tone of voice and personality.
  • Supporting the creative team to plan, shoot and edit content using an iPhone (provided)
  • Communicating and coordinating influencer activity across various time zones
  • Be forthcoming with new ideas and experiment with new content formats and technologies to ensure that our clients remain at the forefront of the socialsphere.
  • Driving standards by writing and proofing copy (spelling, grammar and tone of voice) and creative (onbrand, messaging and visually engaging) ensuring that you're proud of everything that you put yours and Target's name to.
  • Proactively communicating with stakeholders and colleagues to provide updates on delivery timelines, results and new ideas.

£21,415.00 per year
