Content Marketing Specialist

Up to £32,000 DOE
Working hours, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm, and Friday 8.30am pm

We are looking for an experienced Content Marketer for our client based in Coatbridge.

As their new Content Marketing Executive you will create and edit engaging content that delivers on a content plan that you've helped to define yourself.


You will be an experienced and passionate writer who helps the marketing team to drive awareness and adoption of the group products.

You will play an important role in their emerging content engine, creating and editing unique and compelling stories via blog posts, videos, web copy and other avenues.


Duties and responsibilities will include:


  • Creating and editing content in a variety of different media such as blog posts, social media, videos, pitch guides, whitepapers, webpages, etc
  • Helping maintain the blogs, including writing and editing, staging and publishing, and analytics and metrics
  • Using documentation version control, authoring, review and collaboration with Quality departments
  • Tracking content analytics and engagement metrics
  • Maintaining, enforcing and promoting the style guide
  • Creating, enhancing and documenting new processes to make the content machine run more efficiently
  • Working with New Product Design (NPD) and other teams to deliver content

Applicant requirements:


  • Degree level qualifications: (Engineering or Science would be a distinct advantage).
  • 2+ years of experience writing and / or editing technical marketing content
  • Experience running a blog (ideally a technical blog but not essential)
  • Knowledge of HTML would be advantageous
  • Experience working with and / or maintaining writing style guides and writing and editing engaging content.
  • Have the ability to learn about complex technical topics and explain them clearly.
  • Have experience reviewing and editing other people's writing and providing constructive, collaborative and supportive feedback that stokes future interest in writing
  • Pride yourself on the quality and accessibility of your writing
  • Strong understanding of onpage SEO principles

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £32,000.00 per year

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Coatbridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Content marketing: 2 years (preferred)
