Weighbridge Operator - Caernarfon, United Kingdom - Gwynedd Skip and Plant Hire Ltd

Description

You will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the operation of the weighbridge facility and to act as point of contact for customers, employees, visitors and contractors.

• Check incoming loads, ensuring compliance with environmental permit conditions at all times
• Reject any nonconforming waste types
• Accurately record weights and waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver signatures etc.
• Process waste transfer/consignment notes accurately and efficiently (including checks on EWC and SIC codes to ensure they are correct and match the actual waste type)
• Ensure that the weighbridge is within calibration and all times and functioning correctly.
• Collect payments from customers.
• Deal with customer queries in a professional manner at all times
• Site Health & Safety inductions

• Order materials as and when required
• Maintain fuel stocks
• Site Diary Management
• General office duties
• Hours of Work: 08:00 am to 17:00 pm Monday
• Friday.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Computer literate
• Able to multitask
• Excellent attention to detail
• Administration skills
• Excellent customer service skills

• Bilingual (Welsh and English)
• Previous health, safety, environmental experience
• Health, safety, environmental qualifications
