About The Role:

Our CDCs play a pivotal role in the success of our business and are responsible for ensuring that we deliver potentially lifesaving products to an extensive network of local customers daily.

This is a busy and varied role, involving the distribution of stores orders maintaining the flow of inbound and outbound volume, as well as aiding in the transport department.

This role will be Monday to Friday with flexibility to meet operation needs so you may need to work every other Saturday with a rest day in the week.

Key Accountabilities

Unloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
Reloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
Safe transfer of load to despatch bay.
Correctly sorting and distribution of orders.
Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.
Adherence to checking off procedures.
Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.
Damages awareness and procedures.
Understanding productivity.
Importance of security.
Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.

About You:

You will work in a tidy and methodical manner and take pride in a high standard of accuracy.

You should be flexible to suit the needs of the business and approach all new tasks with a positive attitude.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have intermediate Numeracy and Literacy. You will need to be physically capable of standing for long periods, as well as bending and lifting. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Stock handler, Stock take or similar.

There will also be administrative duties to cover within the office so intermediate IT skills would be preferable.
