- The mission of the Data Protection Service (DPS) group is to implement the Firm's Data Cybersecurity Strategy by architecting, engineering, deploying, and operating technical data security controls and capabilities for the Enterprise. This is achieved by continued focus on architectural rigor, automation, Agile delivery, and adoption of Data Protection Services' control implementations by our users and partners.
- As a DLP squad member you will be involved in the service delivery and development of key DLP infrastructure and controls across the Morgan Stanley organization. You will be delivering operational and engineering services while working closely with wider Technology groups, stakeholders & our 3rd party vendors.

- What will you be doing?
- Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Support of Engineering & Operational tasks involved in data security services, ranging from service delivery, automation, DevOps tasks and on call rota support.
- Work with a global team to identify platform issues or areas for operational improvement and developing robust, sustainable solutions.
- Onboard new tools to support business needs and integrate with the Morgan Stanley cloud infrastructure.
- Promoting high standards in solution design and delivering scalable solutions.
- Work with a global team to enable solution implementation and management of the platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS
- What we're looking for:
- In depth knowledge of Unix / Linux systems
- Strong experience using scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Demonstratable experience & knowledge of DevOps methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary technologies in a complex, regulated environment.
- Demonstratable experience & knowledge of enterprise architectures & environments
- Experience with core ITIL disciplines covering release, change and configuration management.
- An automation/orchestration mindset, enable the product squads to spend more time coding and less time on manual processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.
- Skills that will help you in the role:
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, splunk
- Experience in product integration, e.g., taking opensource products/tools and deploying/integrating them to an enterprise infrastructure.
- Solutions skills, e.g., configuration schema design, process reengineering and automation etc
- Where will you be working?
- This role is based at our Glasgow office on Waterloo Street in the city centre. Hybrid working (3 days per week onsite requirement)
