PD&MS Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quality Advisor to join our progressive BIQHSE team based in Aberdeen on a full time basis.

Role is required to effectively coordinate and manage Quality Assurance activities within the project portfolio of PD&MS.


Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and undertake administration of Quality Management systems ensuring details remain up to date.
  • Interfacing / liaising with formal certification body of Company (LRQA) and with those of Clients, as applicable
  • Create an annual Quality Plan in line with company and client expectations and deliverables.
  • Responsible for assisting with maintenance of internal and external audit programmes and for issue, control and close out of NCR's.
  • Investigate all Quality related incidents, record findings within the Management system and manage recommendations and improvements to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Manage and deliver all project related Lessons Learned, hold periodic reviews, and share lessons within PD&MS group.
  • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of quality assurance records, including Company KPI's.
  • Undertake periodic reviews of quality Management system to ensure compliance with industry standards and requirements and/or legislative requirements.
  • Reporting to management on the status and performance of the Quality Assurance and Management.
  • Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements in relation to Quality to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Internal stakeholder engagement with QC department to ensure all projects requirements are being met.
  • Responsible for the management of integrated Quality assurance management systems.
  • Procedure and document preparation and implementation.
  • Undertake Internal Audits, inclusive of report writing and the follow through of any improvements or actions identified throughout the audit process.
  • Undertake external vendor audit and evaluation on a Monthly, Quarterly and annual basis.
  • Development, design and delivery of internal Quality workshops.
  • Undertake tender review and preparation of documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist Project and Contact Mangers with Quality data for Management Review Meetings.
  • Comply at all times with Company's Environmental, Quality and Health and Safety Policies
  • Liaise with all project personnel both onshore and offshore and provide advice, guidance and support, on all aspects and matters concerning Quality Assurance and Management.

Role can be offered on a Hybrid basis in Aberdeen, Contractor or Employee basis.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience with the following:

Required:

  • 9001 Auditor qualification or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in conducting internal Audits.
  • Experience in leading Quality Investigations.
  • Knowledge of Quality, Codes, Standards and best practice.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining, Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 or equivalent.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office Applications.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a similar Quality role within the energy sector.
  • 9001 Lead Auditor qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in the use of Quality investigation tools and techniques (root cause analysis).
  • Understanding or experience in Engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
  • Understanding of contractual, commercial and cost issues within the Energy Sector.
  • Demonstrable experience of training of others in Quality best practice.
  • Membership, or working towards membership, of a role appropriate recognised professional body (CQI)
