Job description

  • The School of School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a talented Research Fellow within the Centre for Public Health.
  • The principal aim of the post is to support the conduct of an economic evaluation of Ketamine as an adjunctive therapy for major depression and examine socioeconomic inequalities in mental health/healthcare in Northern Ireland over time.
  • Have or be about to obtain a relevant PhD in epidemiology, public health, statistics or related discipline
  • Specific, recent research experience and skills relevant to this project measurement and decomposition of health inequalities, use of ageperiodcohort models and costeffectiveness analysis/health simulation modelling.
  • Experience of using statistical packages such as STATA and R.
  • Contribution to authorship of articles in international scientific peer reviewed journals, commensurate with stage of career.
