Main Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the production of the monthly management accounts, including extensive analysis, accrual and prepayments, depreciation and journal adjustments.
  • Sales reporting, including raising invoices and communicating with customers to resolve queries.
  • Preparation of bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide support to the Finance team for any day to day accounting issues.
  • Posting of Purchase Invoices into the system and communicating with suppliers to resolve queries as required.
  • Provide adhoc analysis as required to support decisions as required from all areas of the business (including Sales, Operations, Installations).
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and reviewing annually.
  • Provide support to the annual audit process.
  • Ongoing tracking and maintenance of Weekly Sales figures.
  • Continuously looking to streamline processes to improve delivery.
  • Provide support to the head office / factory team to resolve adhoc issues that may arise.
  • Preparation of weekly payment runs and supplier management.
  • Any other duties identified as necessary to achieve the role by the business.

Key Skills and experience:


  • Studying or completed a professional qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
  • Previous experience working in a Retail/Manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and administration skills.
  • Able to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build rapport quickly with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SAGE 50 would be advantageous
  • Highly organised and proactive, team player.
