About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic UX / UI Designer to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in maintaining and developing an engaging and informative professional development platform for educators.

Your primary focus will be to ensure the website is user-friendly, up-to-date, and meets our business goals. You will also help create high-quality educational content that supports teachers' professional development and enhances their classroom practices.

You will work closely with accredited psychologists and senior team management throughout. So, this role is particularly well suited to someone with an interest in psychology and education.

Responsibilities
Help to deliver new content for the Teacher CPD Academy


Specific tasks will include:

  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • UI Design: Develop highquality visual designs. Ensure a consistent and cohesive user interface and assist in the creation of visual content.
  • Usability Testing**: Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and insights. Use findings to enhance the user experience.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for grammar, clarity and coherence. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone across the platform.
  • Content Updates and Maintenance: Regularly review and update existing content to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
  • Video Content Planning and Shooting: Work with content development teams to plan video shoots and set up cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment.

Website management:


  • Ensure website navigation is intuitive and seamless, making it easy for users to find information and engage with our services.
  • Optimise the website's performance, including page load speed and responsiveness.
  • Monitor website analytics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website.

Customer Support:


  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist customers with the registration process and troubleshooting any technical issues they may encounter on the website.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, comments and complaints.
This role is full-time and is based in our office in Oval (South London). The remuneration for this role is £25,000 per annum.


ABOUT YOU

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to identify issues, propose solutions, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • An openness to learning.
