Join us on our journey to craft a better future through digital transformation._****_As a Digital Operations Specialist, you'll work closely with the Head of Digital Operations, driving excellence in digital technology and service delivery.
You'll be a technical leader, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our digital channels and ecommerce operations worldwide._**Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor digital channels, ensuring peak performance, availability, and seamless customer journeys to unlock full sales potential.
- Collaborate with the ecommerce team to understand requirements and translate them into user stories using tools like Jira/DevOps.
- Oversee the operation of key apps, data feeds, and integrations across Portmeirion Group websites.
- Provide impact analysis and issue/defect management to support process improvements and change.
- Proactively identify and solve issues affecting site operations and customer experiences, collaborating with technical teams.
- Establish incident escalation and prioritization processes, working with crossfunctional teams.
- Support the implementation of CMS enhancements and templates, aiding the ecommerce team.
- Offer pre/post support for major change release activities, delivering insights on digital channel traffic and performance.
- Contribute to outofhours emergency operational support on a rotational basis.
- Communicate effectively during major incidents or highrisk periods, ensuring senior stakeholders are informed.
- Stay updated on business changes, effectively communicating releases and developments.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in similar roles, with experience in various ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce).
- Proficiency in CMS administration, HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL.
- Full software development lifecycle experience, including agile methodologies and handson testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira and Azure DevOps for raising bugs and prioritizing with key stakeholders.
- Experience managing thirdparty systems integrators, agencies, and technical vendors.
- Desirable experience in replatforming and website redesign.
- Understanding of systems architecture in support of ecommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of eCommerce payment gateways, order management, data flows into ERP, and data security.
- Operational or managerial experience in a fastmoving environment.
- Strong technical understanding across various systems and processes.
- Ability to translate complex problems into actionable language for both technical and business colleagues.
- Effective under pressure, with strong organizational and delegation skills.
- Comfortable liaising and influencing stakeholders, including at a senior level.
- Time management skills and the ability to motivate others in timecritical situations.
- Proficiency in communicating complex processes to diverse audiences, including senior management.
