Ledger and Accounts Clerk - c£25,000 Per Annum - Suffolk - Full Time

Reed Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with a well renowned and expanding manufacturing company in the Suffolk area who require a
Ledger and Accounts Clerk**to join their finance team reporting to the Finance Director.


The
Ledger and Accounts Clerkwill possess strong communications skills, interpersonal skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create sales and service invoices from completed sales orders
  • Upload daily sales invoice batches to invoice finance company and download respective funding to the bank current account
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Process purchase invoices
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statement and post all invoices
  • Produce and distribute end of month aged debtors report
  • Produce monthly warranty cost report for Service Manager
  • Process and pay expenses and petty cash claims

Desirable Applicant Requirements

  • Experience within an accounting team
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail with the ability of multitasking
  • Good all round IT skills and proficiency in MS Office Products
  • Word, Outlook & Excel. would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Polite and professional telephone manner
  • Be ambitious and willing to undertake further training and development
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and nonfinancial, colleagues, clients and customers.
  • Microsoft Navison knowledge would be beneficial but not crucial as training can be provided.

Salary, Working Schedule and Benefits

c£25,000 Per Annum (dependant on experience):

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Monday to Friday 08:3017:00 (30 minutes lunch)
  • 22 days plus bank holidays increases yearly to 25 days maximum after 3 years of service
