Overview:

ENERCON Wind Energy UK Ltd. is looking to appoint a Crane & Installation Buyer. As part of the Global Procurement team, the Crane & Installation Buyer will be responsible for negotiating prices for the execution of wind farm projects, which will include transport, cranes and handling within the Region
  • Western Europe
. We are looking for a proactive, motivated and resourceful individual to join the team.


Main Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations:


  • Select suppliers according to Company guidelines and parameters: costs, quality and deadlines
  • Carrying out requests for quotations (RFQ) and negotiations
  • Conducting negotiations and concluding contracts
  • Development of suppliers in the region
  • Management of the relationship with suppliers
  • Coordination between project delivery and schedule compliance
  • Analysis of the market, specific regulations and laws applicable to the countries
  • Market, product and cost monitoring
  • Assist the manager in the implementation and execution of tasks in accordance with ENERCON strategy
  • Ensures communication between regional and global purchasing managers
  • Contribute to the implementation of the purchasing organisation and procedures
  • Analysis of results and preparation of reporting materials

Qualifications and Profile:


  • Ideally holds a professional qualification in Procurement, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain
  • Global purchasing and logistics procurement experience would be preferred
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Competent in MS Office and SAP experience is preferred
  • Frequent trips within region
  • Western Europe
  • You must be willing to travel frequently within the Western Europe region (France, Benelux UK and Ireland)
  • Able to work autonomously or collaboratively with strict confidentiality
  • Able to work in a changing and rapid developing environment
  • Able to identify issues, take responsibility and implement solutions
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Trustworthy with unquestionable integrity and ethical standards

Job Types:

Salary:
£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
