Description

About The Role
Within our B2B business unit we are on a period of growth.

To enable this, we have started on a journey of enhancing and systemising the way we operate to meet the current and future needs of our customers.

We are seeking a motivated Contract/Operations Controls Manager to join our 'Performance and Contract Management' team to further enhance our BAU procedures and controls to enable our continued success.

The B2B Performance and Contract Management team as a whole will oversee and optimise the performance of the B2B & Microtricity portfolio, in line with P&L expectations.

They will do this through implementing best practice contract and performance management.

This includes day to day management of several business processes as well as involvement and/or oversight of project activity focused on relevant improvement opportunities.

The Operations/Contract Controls Lead will work across all B2B teams, as well as Technology, Finance and Commercial, to effectively engage with stakeholders to enable the delivery of improvements to BAU systems and processes.

This role is very varied, challenging and rewarding, requiring exceptional communication and organisational skills.

We are looking for a person in this role who is comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment that can challenge the status quo and help change perspectives on what good looks like.

  • This includes supporting teams to define and embed process change to meet new regulations
  • Support and upskill managers on how to lead effective governance and use performance metrics to facilitate structured decisionmaking
  • Continuously monitor B2B & Microtricity KPIs to ensure delivery to target(s) and regulatory obligations, making recommendations regarding performance and operational effectiveness
  • Whilst sustainable MI is being developed, lead on prioritisation of performance drivers through impact and root cause analysis.
  • Deliver contract management projects through effective programme management practises, including but not limited to:
  • Establishing and leading cross-functional teams (including senior members of wider functions e.g. head of debt, head of financial planning)
  • Leading and facilitating appropriate governance, offering support and guidance to ensure the successful and timely delivery to project milestones
  • Developing communication plans to keep colleagues informed about progress, changes, and successes, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Developing change management plans to effectively deliver sustainable behaviour change. In doing so, work with our strategy and transformation team to ensure coordination of the full suite of changes impacting individual stakeholder groups
  • Build and lead a small team (23) dedicated to contract management and performance improvement
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management and performance improvement

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo in the right way
  • Outcomes driven mindset, able to focus others on the "so what"
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to draw links between operational strategy and financial outcomes
  • Proven experience in contract management and performance improvement, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate complex data into actionable insights
