Learning Services Assistant (Opportunity for Additional Responsibility post as exam access arrangements administrator)


Term Time 36.25 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Maternity Cover until February 2023

Salary Scale £21,810 (Actual £18,497 Pro Rata Term Time)

Additional Allowance for Exam Access Role - £2,296 (Actual Annual Salary)


Located 10 miles northwest of Manchester with excellent motorway access, The Sixth Form is a vibrant, highly aspirational, high achieving Sixth Form College of c.

1800 students.

A modern building with fantastic facilities, it is located in the newly developed education sector of the town centre and offers a wide range of A Level and Level 3 BTEC programmes.


The Sixth Form Bolton has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Services Assistant that will work as part of the Learning Services team to provide essential support to students with a range of developmental needs and/or disabilities.

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Provide help for students in navigating the building
  • Work closely with class teachers to facilitate students learning
  • Provide personal care to students as required
  • Assist in the process of evaluating/monitoring students progress and ensuring the successful progression of the student through the curriculum
