G&P Healthcare is a nurse led award winning specialist homecare company, rated 'Outstanding' by CQC.

We are recruiting for a new care team to support a 14 year old boy, who lives with his family in Widdrington.

Our client has very complex health needs including tracheostomy, ventilation, dystonia (uncontrollable muscle spams), catheter, PEG.

Our client can experience emergency situations relating to his airway and dystonia, you must be able to remain calm and deal with these situations appropriately.

The complexities of our client is reflected in the pay rate offered.

Our client required 1 to 1 care, by a care team who will be highly trained to meet all of his complex needs.

You will not be left alone with our client until you are assessed as fully competent, you must be willing to learn.

You will be trained to a high standard on all aspects of the clients needs by nurses.

We have both day shifts and waking night shifts available, shifts are day shift 07:30-19:30, night shift 19:30-07:30. You will be required to work alternative weekends. A degree of flexibility is required for this position.

It is essential that you have at least 1 year recent care experience. It is also essential that you hold a driving licence and that you are willing to drive clients mobility vehicle.
