Description

GTS Transportation are working with a leading rail logistics organisation who are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join their busy warehouse due to expansion.

• Accurately perform all material processing tasks, including receipt, put away, perpetual inventory checking, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials.
• Undertake stock checking and inventory relocation tasks as directed. Conduct both electronic and physical checks and retrieve necessary data, taking photographs and measurements as needed.
• Respond to outofcourse customer requirements, ensuring order processing and delivery activities are duly organized, and customer communication is effective and timely.
• Organize transport, via Bibby, giving necessary weights, dimensions, and address details when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within the warehouse to enhance processes and increase customer satisfaction, using tools and techniques to solve issues and challenges.
• Undertake all tasks, including housekeeping, and others required by the manager within the warehouse complex in a manner that maintains safety for yourself and colleagues.
• Work safely, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others, following appropriate health and safety guidance, training, and company rules and procedures.
• Report any accidents, hazards, or dangerous/unsafe behavior to your line manager immediately.

• Knowledge of modern warehouse processes.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the company.

• Relevant MHE license(s) holder, including Counterbalance, Man-Up, Bendi, Crane, and WAV.
