What is the overall job?


Located at our Peterborough Hospital site office, the Document Controller will be responsible for the management of the project processes and procedures on the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS), ensuring that they are in line with Multiplex's policies, systems, and procedures.

The Document Controller will assist both internal and external members of the project team with EDMS, reporting, queries, and processes.


Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all documents are quality checked and processed
  • Managing review periods, workflows, distribution
  • Following up on overdue documentation or correspondences
  • Ensuring the relevant Package Manager is aware of the outstanding items for their package on EDMS

What do I need to be successful in this role?
You'll need a solid background in Document Control, preferably gained in the Construction/building industry.

Additional skills and experience would include:

  • An understanding of Electronic Data Management Systems and processes
  • Aconex experience (desirable)
  • Experience with validation systems and understanding of ISO 9001 and BS119
  • Team player who is detail orientated and able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
