Job description:


This is a brilliant opportunity for you to join a multi-tasking team providing support for a range of administrative duties.

Due to the varied tasks that will be undertaken, this role will prove to be exciting and rewarding


Based in the DVLA in Swansea, as our Talent and Learning Support Officer you will work with two other administrative officers to provide full administrative support for managers, from co-ordinating courses and learning events to engaging with both internal and external colleagues and stakeholders to managing multiple inboxes.

We are an interactive team which delivers a professional and efficient service.

We create positive first impressions for all new starters and subsequently all DVLA staff who attend our courses and events so it is crucial that we provide a quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:_
  • Providing full administrative support and coordination for all Civil Service Learning courses to include arranging dates and delegates, cancellations, substitutes, waiting lists, course materials, room bookings and the updating and monitoring of the training bookings databases.
  • Liaising and engaging with relevant providers, suppliers, stakeholders and training organisations to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all DVLA training and events.
  • Supporting the work of the Talent and Learning Delivery Manager by providing administration and coordination for learning events, Agency wide programmes, articles, and the creation and broader circulation of communication items in line with directorate processes and procedures.

Therefore, the expectation is that you will spend a minimum of 60% of your working time based at your principal workplace (DVLA).
