Manchester based.
Hybrid working - With the expectation of being in the office once every 2 weeks.
£65,000 + Benefits
About the role:
This is a broad role; you'll be a key team member working to attract and retain top talent; working autonomously, and as a part of the broader reward team to identify, analyse and consider creative solutions to reward issues.
You'll be owning the delivery of reward cyclical activity; the pay review process, role evaluation & benchmarking, bonus and incentive schemes, employee benefit proposition and projects/ priorities for designated Divisions of the organisation.
You'll be working closely with the reward and wider HR team, including the Chief People officer and Senior HRBPs, and reporting into the Director of Reward.
Main Duties:
- Coordinate the salary review process, working closely with HRBPs and provide monitoring of external pay trends.
- Maintain robust job evaluation and salary benchmarking processes.
- Review the Reward strategy across designated divisions in line with defined Reward frameworks and local legislative requirements.
- Own key employee financial benefits, ensuring that consistency applied across locations e.g. pension, allowances, bonus schemes
- Own and monitor approach to pay progression.
- Explore Reward & Benefit schemes.
- Monitor external market Reward & Benefit trends and ensure the org are proactive in approach to statutory implementation and fully consider strategy linked to external market trends.
- Regularly review the Reward & Financial Benefits offering and update existing products or launch new products as appropriate.
- Influence and support Reward initiatives and input as required into Remco requirements.
- Lead Reward and Benefit projects from design to implementation
- Develop key relationships within the business at all levels communicating and reinforcing the reward and compensation strategy and principles.
- Manage commercial arrangements and relationships with third party providers.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- Experience of working in a dynamic business environment, with specialism in the reward and compensation space.
- Proven track record of development/implementation of reward schemes, policy and frameworks including role evaluation schemes, pay & bonus review cycles, sourcing/collating market data.
- Strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills; be able to interpret and analyse data, question, and articulate the purpose of the Reward MI.
- Excellent numerical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality reports/presentation and analysis.
- A great communicator and influencer of audiences at all levels in the organisation both verbal and written
- Strong team player with the ability to influence and make clear recommendations for improvements.
Advantageous:
- Experience of Executive Compensation is a bonus.
- A strong existing network of reward specialists would be an advantage.
- CIPD qualified desirable but not essential.
