Principal Planner - SME Private Consultancy

Location:
Bristol (10-minute walk to the centre)

Our longstanding client is an Independent multidisciplinary property consultancy with offices across the South West, which employs circa 80 professionals across the business, with the majority based in Bristol.

You'll be joining a team of 12 Planning consultants and will have the opportunity to work with some of the UK's top leading companies.

Your Role:

This position would suit an established Principal Planner looking for a new challenge with a progressive firm offering a wide range of work.

You will be joining a reputable firm with a long-standing client base of both public and private sector clients, where the main focus will be a mix of residential, mixed-use, environmental and commercial schemes.

Duties:

Supporting senior fee earners in the delivery of a wide range of projects
Writing high quality reports, interpreting data and making clear recommendations.
Attending external events to create new business contacts and identify business development opportunities.
Mentoring and guiding junior/graduate planning colleagues.***
Essential Criteria:
RTPI Accredited Degree
5 + Years UK Town Planning Experience

Desirable Criteria:

A background in both the public and private sector
MRTPI or very close to achieving.
