Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team.

As a CNC Turner Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and tapping
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
  • Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to complete the job
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols

Skills:


  • Proficiency in machining techniques and processes
  • Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
  • Experience with tooling selection, setup, and maintenance
  • Familiarity with CAD software for programming CNC machines
  • Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language is preferred but not required
  • Strong measurement skills using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
